Short version: Curly IT Signature Generator uses exactly one cookie. It remembers whether you've dismissed the cookie banner. We don't use any tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Nothing about you is sent to a third party.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. It's used to remember information between visits, like whether you're logged in, or your preferences.
Not all cookies are equal. Some are used purely to make a site work. Others are used to track your behaviour across the internet for advertising purposes. This policy explains which category Curly IT Signature Generator falls into.
We use one cookie, and one cookie only:

The builder (builder.html) runs entirely in your browser. Your name, email address, phone number, logo, and any other details you enter are never sent to a server. They exist only in your browser's memory while you have the page open.
When you close the tab, that information is gone. We don't store it, log it, or have any access to it.
The only exception is the cookie consent preference described above, which is stored in your browser's localStorage. It's a local storage mechanism similar to a cookie, but kept only on your device.
No. The one cookie we set is only to stop the banner appearing repeatedly. If you dismiss the banner without clicking "Got it", the banner will reappear on your next visit, but the builder will still work perfectly. Nothing is gated behind cookie consent.
You can clear it at any time through your browser's developer tools or storage settings. In most browsers:

If we ever change how cookies are used on this site, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Given that we only use one cookie and have no plans to add analytics or advertising, we don't expect this policy to change much.
